Portfolio Guidelines
Present your work the way designers evaluate it — installed projects in context, not only detail shots.
Minimum for directory review
Upload at least 3 portfolio images plus a profile or featured hero image. Profiles below this threshold cannot be submitted for guild review.
Image specifications
- JPEG or PNG, max 5 MB per file
- Recommended minimum 1600px on the long edge
- Landscape orientation works best for gallery layout
- Up to 30 images on Premium; organize with drag-and-drop in your portal
What designers look for
- Installed work — rooms, façades, or architectural context, not only texture macros
- Project variety — residential, hospitality, or commercial if applicable
- Scale — full walls, ceilings, or gates; designers need to judge scope
- Collaboration — work alongside other trades (plaster + mural, iron + stone) signals project readiness
Captions & ordering
Lead with your strongest installed project. Put your featured image on the profile editor — it becomes the hero on your public page. Reorder portfolio images so the first three tell a coherent story of your specialty.
Free tier note
Free members may upload images for review purposes, but the public portfolio gallery requires Premium. Designers can still see your bio, specialties, and contact path on a free listing.
